On the 16^th of November 2016, Whoba Ogo Foundation participated in the annual symposium organized by the Association of Medical Students, university of Lagos (AMSUL). The goal of the symposium is for various stakeholders in the health sector to rub minds with regard to improving the quality and accessibility of health services across the nation.

As is the custom, the event took place at the Lagos state University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). It was well attended by both faculty and student members of the medical college, as well as by other key-players in the health services industry. Various enriching keynote addresses were presented; various issues were debated; clarity and roadmaps of various matters were attained. Whoba Ogo Foundation was represented in the event by Nnamonu Oluchukwu Peter, a bright young man who presented a brief address on behalf of the foundation. His talk centered around the need and usefulness of benevolence in the pursuit of a healthy society. He also indicated the interest of the foundation to work hand-in-hand with AMSUL on some programmes in the near future, starting with a medical outreach to be carried out in a large market in the heart of Lagos soon.
